SONG: “No Intention” by Dirty Projectors

This is just a great song from the latter-half of Dirty Projectors’ album Bitte Orca.

I’ve found that the beginning of that album is so solid that sometimes the last few songs get left in the shadows. With songs like “Cannibal Resource”, “Temecula Sunrise” and “Stillness Is The Move” kicking off the record, it’s not really a surprise that the other songs take a sort-of backseat. But this song is pretty awesome. In fact, it might make a case for my favorite track on the record. It’s a perfect example of both David Longstreth’s schizo guitar and penchant for startlingly beautiful melodies. Enjoy!
